З 7 по 11 серпня в Осака, Японія пройде 34-й міжнародний чемпіонат з парного го серед аматорів. Україна одна з 6 запрошених країн від Європи.
Організатори оплачують:

Expenses(The organizer will cover the following expenses.)
1. Accommodation: from Aug. 7 (check-in) to 11 (check-out)
2. Meals: Breakfast and lunch during the tournament
3. Airfare: 80,000 yen support per player

Оголошується аукціон на участь в парному чемпіонаті.

Аукціон проводиться за парними очками станом на 01 січня (як і в будь-яких інших аукціонах). Ставку робить пара. Обоє учасників пари мають віддати однакову кількість очок, що означає, що той партнер, у котрого менше очок, є лімітуючим фактором.

Умови аукціону:
В аукціоні можуть брати участь усі бажаючі у яких є парні очки та які сплатили спортивний внесок УФГо за 2025 рік.
Професійні гравці, на жаль, за правилами чемпіонату брати участь не можуть.
Аукціон проводится до 10 травня включно (11 травня залишимо для уточнення якщо потрібно, та для подачі анкети). Також, прохання до 26 квітня зробити хоча б одну ставку, так як до 26 квітня федерація повинна повідомити, що зможе відправити пару на змагання.

Україна одна з 6 запрошених країн від Європи.

Якщо бути точним, то 8 пар запрошується, ще 2 - чемпіони парного го за 24 та 25 рік.

Europe will have eight seats including the 2024 and 2025 European pair go champions.

The other 6 seats were decided according to the pair go points and performances and participation in the last European pair go championships.

The six countries who will get these seats are :
Germany, France, Czechia, Romania, Sweden and Ukraine.

The European Go Federation has received the invitation of the Japan Pair Go Association for the Matsuda Cup 9th World Students Pair Go Championship. The tournament will be a parallel event to the 34th International Amateur Pair Go Championship, which will be held between August 7 (check-in) and August 11 (check-out), 2025, in Osaka-Kansai EXPO Messe “Wasse”.

We will nominate two pairs, and ask candidates to REGISTER by submitting the form by May 7th. Please reply to confirm receipt of this email, and notify qualified candidates ASAP. Should you have any questions regarding the event, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Terms: the organizer will cover the full cost of accommodation, breakfast and lunch during the tournament. The airline ticket will be subsidized with 80.000 JPY (slightly less than 500 EUR).

The attachments include the invitation for regulations for Matsuda Cup 9th World Students Pair Go Championship and the outline of the whole Pair Go competition in Osaka. Please carefully read these documents, as they contain important details about the event.

We want to emphasize three points:

participants must be students (undergraduate, graduate) younger than 30 years

dress code (especially the requirement to wear a national costume in some events)

the cost of flight tickets, which is already much higher than usual because of EXPO

Since EGF should nominate two representative pairs, please ask players who satisfy the conditions and are willing to participate to register by Wednesday, May 7, 2025, 12:00 CEST.

The EGF Executive Committee shall review all proposals and select two pairs (not necessarily with both players in each pair from a single country) based on the combination of the following criteria:

participation in Pair Go events in Europe (at EGC or European Pair Go Championship),

strength (rank, EGD rating),

diversity of countries who are going to represent Europe in all Pair Go events in Osaka.

In case that nominated pairs never played together, EGF is going to organize appropriate training using the Pandanet Pair Go platform.
