Приємна новина від Міжнародної Федерації Го - в цю пятницю підписано базові документи по організації Других Всесвітніх Інтелектуальних Спортивних Ігор (2WMSG) 11-25 серпня 2012 року в Манчестері:

Hi all,
here's the very short breaking news. The basic contracts for the 2. World Mind Sports games have been signed by IMSA last Friday.
I hope you start with thinking about how to attend at the event as soon as possible. Travelling costs with many low-cost airlines going to the UK can't stop you...
The plan for the Go-competitions: At least all what we had in Beijing (team men/women - single men/women - pair - amateur-only). Maybe we'll add some youth-competition(s).
It might be six mind sports, the five from Beijing and Poker. IMSA is preparing a provisional membership for Poker.
No question, we'll need any help for this competition. Although EGF is not the organisation in charge we are automatically involved.
